Christ the King uses the Living the Word curriculum from Spirit & Truth publishing, which follows the Narrative Lectionary. Each week students learn more about the Bible story that is read in worship.
Sunday School students are ages 3 years-5th grade and meet on Sundays during the school year at 10:15 am (following worship).
Each Sunday students are expanding on the Bible story that was read during worship in fun and creative ways with their teachers. Students also learn important faith building blocks such as the Lord’s Prayer and the Ten Commandments.

Sunday School at a Glance (10:15 am-11:00 am on Sundays)
What happens on Sunday mornings during Sunday School? At 10:15 am on Sundays, we ring the Sunday School bell marking the beginning of Sunday School. All students gather in the sanctuary for our opening time, along with their teachers and any parents that want to join us.
At the opening, we sing songs and the Bible story for the day is introduced or reviewed. We also collect offering each week, which goes to support a student scholarship in Masisiwe, Tanzania or other local causes.
At 10:30 am, each class makes their way to their classroom where they engage in games, activities, discussions, and more surrounding the story of the week.
Class time wraps up at 11 am. Students who are in our Cherub Choir then meet for a short practice (those who aren’t in Cherub Choir are free to go).
