New Members

Church membership means different things to different people depending on their past experiences in congregations and denominations. At Christ the King, membership is about partnering with the congregation and sharing responsibility for carrying out our mission and ministry.

Members of CTK are responsible for decision-making during congregational meetings.  They often lead or participate in various ministry teams. Those who wish to become members are invited to attend a new member class, which is offered in both spring and fall.  Material covered includes learning a basic understanding of Lutheranism and learning more about the congregation.  The class concludes with an opportunity to enjoy conversation with current members and a shared meal. Our hope is that you’ll find many ways to share your spiritual and practical gifts in our congregation, community, and within the world while growing in your faith.
